Another from editing through my Maria in the Shower photos from like two weeks ago. Working like 60 hours a week makes it hard to do other stuff sometimes!
This photo kindof got me thinking about Cartier Bresson’s decisive moment when working on it. Maybe it’s because I think it tells a a story and I like weirdly cropped unidentifiable figures.. or maybe it’s just a story about Brendon’s floating standup bass.

Maria in the Shower. Saturday August 14th at Brandiz on East Hastings in Vancouver.
WELCOME BACK TO COMPUTER AND INTERNET CONNECTED LIFE. I am not back to organized/moving boxes put away life yet. I have a bunch more from this show, but I’m going to wait to see if the Skinny is still going to use some of my images for their mag. I might be way too late for the digtal age due to EXTREME moving conditions.
Hey, I’m super tired and need to go switch over my laundry. And probably the Blog site to the new domain.
My roommates are watching YouTube videos about sailing! Just to keep you informed.

Uhhh, not sure if the scanner handled the slide film too nicely. But here we go anyways! I think the one I’m looking at comes with better software… let’s hope. I’ve got more of Congress coming from Friday, but I’m way too tired today, did like 65 working KMs today, pretty much straight hammering most of it too. And then I watched the fireworks from our apartment on the 15th floor. Had to take advantage of that since we’re moving soon. Anyways, I want to get to sleep early, I’m hoping it’s busy again tomorrow and I can make some money.
Oh, and Wee at Kensignton.

Congress show last night. Two FujiRoids before I strapped on some 120 transparency to the Bronica. I am kinda shocked that I managed to change a roll basically being pushed on stage by a rager of a mosh behind me. Anyways, the roll and a half should be back from the Lab on Monday night, how I’m going to scan them, I really don’t know. The roll of 35mm black and white I can whip up some mediocre scans at home.. can’t wait to buy a v700 off a friend from school slightly used.

Wish I would have framed this guy a bit better. OH WELL. Session tomorrow (Tuesday) night, around after work o’clock until darkish? I’ll have my camera and things there! And I would like to make more photographs.
Pretty sure the ones I took on transparency of Wee are actually well timed, though it’s hard to tell in the dark with no lights to see through the camera.
