Uhhhh, I went skateboarding yesterday because it was fucking beautiful. Reilly was there. And Kathleen came and took a lot of pictures because she is totally the best. This is a pretty weak scan, but this is from Scott Kennedy‘s opening at Midtown Gallery in downtown Vancouver (Scott is center). If anyone is in Vancouver they should check out the show, it’s really intricate and awesome drawings that you need to see in real life to really discover how crazy complicated they are. Midtown is located on Pender at Richards.
Also, it’s so fucking nice out today. I’m going to go skate. SO FUCKING HARD. (there should be more skate photos tonight maybe?)

Hi again. This is the first post of the new site. And in theory it’s actually kinda early. I’m posting one full half hour before the title says I am! Amazing, now the internet is like a time machine.
Anyways. Welcome to the new omgz.ca. On the old site, combined with my livejournal I had reached a full year’s worth of posting a photograph (okay, I posted a drawing for like three days instead of a photograph) every single day. It felt really good, and got me thinking more about, and taking more images, and really just kept me actually making stuff. Even if it was just digital snapshots or whatever, the point is I did it.
And that’s pretty much what I plan on doing again. This time around I’ve actually got a store (almost) set up, and I think I’ve got a way prettier layout (which I designed, and the fabulous Jeff Werner helped me code (pretty much coded the whole thing)). Not all the bugs are worked out yet, but they will be soon(er or later).
Anyways, that’s pretty much it! Hopefully I’ll be back on the bloggin’ wagon (as sad as that sounds) real soon, and I’ll be linkin’ all kinds of stuff right up, and putting drawings and other arts up and down the site.
