From on the way home from Whistler last month.

I’ve learned at Art Schoolâ„¢ that the only way to make good art, is to do something you care about. I have not taken any photos since coming home that I’ve been genuinely excited about. And I’m getting pretty bummed. And my usual escape that puts me into good moods, le skateboarding, is not as accessible here. That’s stupid I know. Skateboarding is about creativity, using your environment to create, everything. But tranny (my love) is too far away for me without a car. And I can’t really afford gas right now even. And the bus/subway/bus takes forever.

I guess, I’m just bummed. And I don’t know exactly what to do about it. But I’m going to go to a parking lot and figure out how to find some more pop. And maybe how to get off a curb. Or something.

Also. If I don’t start taking more photos that I’m stoked about soon. I’m going to put this site on hiatus until I do.

You love trannies and trademark characters. How can you be bummed at a time like this?

The best thing you can do is go to an intersting part of town and see what you can see. Take your camera and shoot on the way there and back, too. Exploration is key!

P.S. I am having some trouble with photography in Regina, too. The loacl photo store doesn’t even CARRY medium format film anymore, AND the processing is twice as expensive as in Vancouver! WOW.
