Yeah, so I haven’t gotten to actually skate too much lately, though I did manage to get to China Creek today, and after work some day this week, I don’t remember which. And I’m pretty stoked that I’m starting to rock smith stalls pretty reg, and I’m able to ollie the steel plate at the Creek now too. I just need to take some more pictures soon. Also, next Wednesday in Vancouver looks like clear weather, anyone want to head to either Metrotown, Hastings, or Seylynn? I’ll get some beers..
I got into the darkroom to do some of my own work recently. Don’t mind the dust from the scan, I assure you the print doesn’t have any. Anyways, it’s Reilly at Secret Pool (in the 905).

Scanning old stuff! Kate, at Seylynn.
I just went and bought a 20″ Samsung LCD Display. widescreen
It’s pretty goddamn sexy if you ask me. And since I now have a monitor where I can correctly look at pictures and edit them, I’m making a pledge to myself to scan all the prints I make from now on, and digitize them for the internets, and for possible printing maybe in the future. We’ll see how organized I can get my external drive.
Life is pretty good right now, started at MEC today, and it seems like they are going to be a pretty awesome company to work for. They are all like, positive, and joking, and look like they enjoy working. I’m not used to that kind of idea. Looking forward to saving some money and using my sweet discounts though. I might be able to get myself a deal on a new bike….
And, I got a chance to shred China Creek today, need to get that new deck onto some coping.

Today we went to Seylynn, it was Jason’s birthday, and someone had told me that he wanted to head to the skateapark, and then Jason “Shr”Edwards took this photo of me and TRH doing a beer chase run. dope.
I didn’t take any photos, so I don’t have anything to show for today.
I’ve got a lot to do tomorrow and the next few days, so don’t expect too much!
PS: I can make it all the way to the top now, and I want to go back when the place is empty. Also, skateboarding is the best, why did I go and get a job, so much to do! And it was nice to have beers with Jen and Vern today. Hi cousin!
I start updating again daily, and then I get too busy to actually update. HOORAY. But I feel justified.
I’ve got so much studio homework it’s crazy, but I feel good, because I feel like I’m handling the workload well. However, I got a job, which means I’ve got a ton of training time in the first week, before settling into a couple shifts a week, and that means the next two days are going to be HECTIC. Oh well, moneys means I get to make a budget, and figure out how I’m going to purchase a few things. Top on the list of things to save and budget for:
1) rent for next year, and the summer
2) fisheye lens
3) LCD monitor for photo editing
4) road bike that is sweet
I’ve got priorities, and I’ve got responsibilities, but I haven’t been this stoked on a lot of things for so long. So stoked.
