BETHSIDE DISASTER
Beth, with a disaster at Hastings. So basically I spent all this last week skateboarding. Well that’s not entirely true. I’ve only had one day off in the past like two weeks, but I’ve been skating everyday after work and it’s awesome. I’m going to be skating as soon as I get home after updating this post, and skating all day tomorrow, and shooting pictures with the one and only Warren Jones in the morning. Brendon is going to lend me his 4×5 for the week, and hopefully I’ll get some sweet skate action going on with that as well. The only sad thing about all the shooting I’ve been doing is that I don’t have time to print properly right now, and also the darkroom at the school is currently in a big mess! (which is coincidently, where I’ve been working this week (aside from MEC) trying to sort out the mess) In other working news, as of yesterday I’m officially licensed to be a bike courier. Which took way too long, and the opening at Flash couriers has apparently been filled, but I’ve been told there may be another opening in the next two weeks, until then…anyone know courier companies looking for a new guy?
Also, because I’m vain, here is a picture Beth took of me doing a 50-50 at Bonsor, note how flaily my arms are, wobbling all over the lame-place.

SWEET. I’m pretty stoked I’m learning these. Speaking of which, this post’s text has sucked. It’s because I’m looking out the window at my school and the weather is pretty fucking beautiful. I’m going to go skate.
ALSO ALSO If you’re in Vancouver with nothing to do tonight, my friend Brendon and his band Maria in the Shower are playing a set at the Penthouse (Strip…errr..Gentleman’s? club on Seymour downtown), and you should check them out! They play at Eight of clocks, and there are some other bands later.
