SO. I came across this through something that was RT’d in my Twitter Thing, and as complicated and strange as the internet has made everything.

Merry Christmas everyone, to my friends and family at home, I miss you a lot. This is the third time I haven’t been home, and this time I have a special lady who is actually home, five minutes away from my home…. and I wish I was home, and I could visit her home too? Now I’m confused. BUT EITHER WAY JOYEUX NOEL AND ALL THAT.

Well. Here is another photograph of Brendon‘s band. Brendon has gone home to Invermere for a bit to help build custom houses for a while, but his band is coming through on tour around March, so keep on an eye on local listings and their website.

I am thinking soon I’ll start posting some other stuff besides Brendon’s band, or pictures of myself, but I’m feeling lazy, and it’s a good way to segue over to this Georgia Straight “clipping”. I was errrr… consuming a…few…..beers on Saturday night as part of a large birthday/going away gathering and I was told that a photograph of mine was used in the local weekly culture newspaper. I was pretty stoked, but also not stoked that they didn’t ask for permission, or credit the photo! But it is indeed my image as seen back when.

Well, speaking of going away, it seems all my good pals from my year at school have vanished for the holiday season, myself being too broke to leave during the busy letter slinging season (not that they would let me have the time off if I could afford it). So I’ll say that my thoughts are with my pals at their homes, and my friends and family at home. This will be officially my third Christmas away from the nest, I’m planning on doing more or less the same thing I’ve done the past two years: hanging out with my cat, making fresh crepes on Christmas morning, skateboarding and I’m planning on going to see Sherlock Holmes on opening (Christmas) day.

Also in line for my “holiday” season DIY projects including but not limited to:

DIY ghetto (West End? Bonsor?) blaster
SPD (clipless) Vans
making chilli
sewing a new shoulder pad for my courier bag
DIY shoe rain-covers
DIY cycling cap

I guess I’ll keep myself busy. Oh, also I want to organize the explosion that is my crap all over my apartment.

Okay. I am tired, and getting sick, so I might pass out at 8:30 to get up and start work super early to rack up some extra trips.

I was getting some scannin’ done for Brendon‘s band Maria In The Shower. A lot of it was scanning or re-scanning old negs, so much that after a full day of being at school using the big slow (but good) scanner, I was only able to get caught up to scanning my negatives from Halloween ’09. Before that was stuff from over a year ago. And I have some things to finish up from last Thursday night when they played at the Railway Club.

Anyways, I’m totally sick of staring at computer screens. I’d like to maybe make some prints soon to send home for holidays? Maybe tomorrow..

Also, if you live in Vancouver and have some old skate gear you should head over to Boulevard Skateshop on Commercial Drive and donate some things to get some youngin’s shreddin’. I’m going to donate a set up that came my way free through a friend, and I don’t get to skate it enough.

PS: I’m getting ready for a website re-vamp.. and I’ve started to prepare photos to be bigger. So if I’m posting in the next month or so before a new site goes up.. you can right (CTRL?) click most images, select “View Image” or what have you, and it will be bigger magically!
